The Sensory Profile™ Assessment is a measure of a child’s responses to sensory events in everyday life. It provides an overall picture of a child’s sensory processing patterns which is used to analyse how they might be impacting upon a child’s performance in everyday life.
The information from the Sensory Profile can then be used to plan and deliver individualised therapy to help support the child with difficulties in daily activities such as:
- Fine Motor skills – Developing appropriate pencil grasp, holding and manipulating small items, using scissors
- Gross motor skills – Learning how to ride a bike, balance and coordination skills
- Independence Skills – washing, dressing, and feeding themselves
We are able to visit children in their homes and/or schools and liaise with and advise family and school staff.
