How long have You worked with Kent Occupational Therapy?

July 2022.

what do you like about being a Music Therapist?

I have practiced as a music therapist for over 30 years and feel very privileged to have met and worked with many children and adults during this time. My job continues to teach me about the value of shared music making in building relationships and enabling shared meaning and experience.

Outside of work

I am an active musician frequently performing with a piano quintet. I work with local choirs and schools and teach piano. I enjoy reading, playing the piano, cooking, gardening, walking, playing tennis, going to concerts and travel. I have been a local primary school governor and Welfare Officer for our local tennis club.
